Quote Series : Ceased

I have been waiting a long time to release this verse as I'm not completely happy with it, after re-reading endlessly I feel it could grow beautifully from being out in the open.

I ceased to be made of blood and bone. Flesh and sinew. Instead I was made from the petals of a flower. I wilted in the wind and drooped in the rain.
